Athanasios Manavis is working as a freelance industrial designer (heptahedron.studio) and as an Adjunct Lecturer in the area of Product Design in the Department of Industrial Design Engineering, University of Western Macedonia, Greece (ide.uowm.gr).
He is a member of the CODE+ Lab (Computational Design & Digital Fabrication Laboratory). Dr. Athanasios Manavis received his Ph.D. in the area of Computational Product Design based on Visual Brand Elements from the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering (University of Western Macedonia). He holds a diploma in Industrial Design Engineering and a M.Sc. in Business Administration (MBA). He was a member in “List of Jury Members for the 2020 Good Design Awards”.
Athanasios Manavis is a co-author of “Product Design Methodologies”, “Product Design Tools” “Product Design and Prototyping” (Tziola Publications, 2020-2021).
